Lisa grew up in the Hawkes Bay in a loving family with 5 siblings. She gave her heart to the Lord when she was 8 years old and has always been aware of God’s calling and hand on her life in all that she has done.

Lisa has a background as an Occupational Therapist working predominantly in Spinal Rehabilitation, but started flying in 1999 while living in Panama City, Florida, USA.
At that time, she felt a strong desire to serve the Lord and His people through her aviation experience. Returning to New Zealand, she continued to fly, gaining her commercial licence in 2006.

In 2007, taking a step of faith, Lisa moved towards realising her dream of serving the Lord through aviation by enrolling in a Diploma of Operational Aviation and Applied Management course. She successfully completed this in 2009.

Recently, the Lord has stirred Lisa's heart to serve all people whom the Lord loves dearly and specifically the poor through aviation ministry.

Lisa believes the Lord has provided all the puzzle pieces by leading her to serve with MAF, and she is very excited to be a part of MAF New Zealand.
